Millies Princess Foundation 5K

Millie's Princess Foundation started with little Millie who chose to be happy fighting Leukemia. She is no longer with us but her spirit and legacy started a foundation for other families with a child fighting cancer. Her own motto is "The grass is greener on our side, even with Leukemia."

The annual run and carnival included an Adult 5K & Children's 2K race. 
What I learned today:

100% proceeds went to the Prince - Max, & Princess - Lizzie who are battling cancer.

Childhood cancer is more common than many may realize. Cancer is the #1 case of death by disease of children.

Sandy's Mayor, Tom Dolan, was there along with me to congratulate the runner's with a medal and  special thanks for their donation and support.

 Many prince & princess came to cheer everyone up by dancing and entertaining.
