Salute to Flag Raisers

I would like to honor the Iwo Jima flag raisers who stood salute raising our flag and our freedom:

Private First Class Ira H. Hayes,

Private First Class Franklin R. Sousley

Sergeant Michael Strank,

Navy Pharmacist's Mate Second Class John H. Bradley,

Private First Class Rene A. Gagnon, and

Corporal Harlon H. Block.

 This float had the most powerful impression on me: The Marine Corps War Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, where the golden statue by President Dwight D. Eisenhower is held, is where our family spent time visiting many historical sites and seeing the Constitution of the United States.

Please enjoy this film and recognize that freedom was not free - our Star Spangled Banner could not emphasize more importantly the lives given for our freedom.
