As Miss Teen Utah International, I participated in fundraising and planting a tree in honor of National Arbor Day, celebrating my "Lindon roots." Mayor Jeff Acerson and Heath Bateman, the Parks and Recreation coordinator, helped organize this event as well. It was a wonderful opportunity to have families get out, be active and support their community.
