Our sign says "Welcome to the Hunger Banquet". As the HOSA President, I helped with the banquet along with PAC, FCCLA, NHS at Timpanogos High School. Our guest speaker was the Chief Developer of Utah Food Bank. She informed us on hunger in Utah, and specifically Utah County.
1 in 7 Utahns are at risk of missing a meal. 423,000 people are food insecure--that's 15% of Utah's population. And sadly, 1 in 5 kids are unsure where their next meal will come from.
